Rifles (commonly known as Assault Rifles or ARs) are a primary weapon type and default weapon used by Engineer class. They can be used by Medics and Engineers.
Description[]
Rifles are balanced weapons. A jack-of-all trades, master of none, they usually aren't outstanding in any particular field. However, they have good general applicability and are decent in any given situation. Rifles typically have a high Rate-of-Fire and can fire in either Automatic, Semi-Automatic (FAL OSW), or Burst Fire (ARX 160). Elementals and Machine Guns are the only primary weapon types which have higher RoF than Rifles.
The Honey Badger is the default primary for Engineers.
