The Intervention is a Sniper rifle. It is the first sniper unlocked and is also the default weapon of the Sniper class. It is available for the Sniper and Gunslinger classes.
Appearance[]
The Intervention, although having the same name as the CheyTac M200 Intervention, does not bear resemblence to such and is actually more similar to the Accuracy International AX338 Sniper rifle. It has a beige base with a black stock and black scope. It also features a silencer which complements the "low detection" trait of the sniper rifle.
Description[]
The Intervention is a sniper rifle with low detection, which means that enemies will be less likely to target you. This complements the fact that it is the entry-level Sniper rifle, with newer players encountering this Sniper rifle first. This also complements the low health margin of the Sniper and Gunslinger class.
Aside from its low detection, the Intervention also has the second highest impact in the game, only outclassed by the L115. However, contrary to the L115, it also has average ammo capacity, carrying 5 rounds per magazine (6 when upgraded).
Its custom version, Rehab, allows for even lower detection from other players. This further emphasizes the usefulness this rifle has with newer, less experienced players. This also pairs even more well with the lower health margin of the classes using the Rehab.
Tips[]
Contrary to the fact that it is the entry-level Sniper rifle, the Intervention is the go-to Sniper rifle for the Sniper playstyle due to its excellent impact, and as it does not suffer the low ammo capacity the L115 has.
The Intervention performs best with 2+ star upgrades as it will attain even higher ammo capacity (6) and will also have unparalleled accuracy.
The Balistic CPU is a very good attachment for the Intervention if you prefer a higher chance of killing enemies. Extended Mag is also a good attachment if you have problems with ammo handling.
The Intervention and its custom version Rehab are undoubtedly the best Sniper rifles in the game. It is most recommended to use this Sniper rifle if you are going for the Sniper playstyle.

- In SFH2, the Intervention was Jyn's favourite sniper rifle which he used. He also uses it in the Veteran Heroes mission.
- In the Devs De La Muerte mission, Justin uses the custom version of the Intervention, the Rehab.
