Appearance[]
The Flame Thrower is, unsurprisingly, a grey flamethrower. A red fuel tank is positioned below the main body of the weapon. Some fire is actively leaking out of the Flame Thrower's nozzle. A handle is positioned on top of the Flame Thrower which presumably increases its accuracy. Like other Elementals, it is fired from the hip.
Description[]
The Flame Thrower deals extremely low damage but has an incredible rate of fire and ammo capacity to make up for it. It deals the lowest damage of all Elementals. Its accuracy is average. The Flame Thrower Ignites enemies with every shot.
Overview[]
The Flame Thrower is arguably the worst of the Elementals. Even for a weapon of its kind, it deals pitifully low damage and takes a considerable amount of time to kill enemies. It does not help that Fire is generally considered the worst status effect in the game as the amount of damage it deals is negligible and lasts only for a few seconds. The Flame Thrower's projectile speed is also quite slow, taking quite a lot of time to reach its targets. The Advanced Rifling attachment increases the Flame Thrower's range, but it still does not circumvent its slow projectile speed. Like other Elementals, there is a risk of suicide if the user fires it too close to themselves. Overall, the Flame Thrower is a terrible weapon with short range, terrible damage and an insignificant status effect.

Secret Achievement[]
There is a secret achievement on Ice Caverns map and it requires the Flame Thrower to complete. Use the Flame Thrower to burn an ice rock that looks like a foot and you will get the "Cold Feet!" achievement.

- The Flame Thrower's design is based off the Nostromo Napalmer from Team Fortress 2.
