Bad News appears very similar to the Microwave, but with golden accents here and there. It fires a laser beam that deals splash damage in a concentrated area.

Bad News has the highest DPS of all the elemental weapons, but it has no elemental properties.

Overview[]
Bad News is arguably the best elemental weapon in the game. Its DPS far outclasses the other Elementals and its huge ammo reserve ensures that the user will not have to reload for a long, long time. It is also quite accurate for an Elemental weapon. This weapon is useful for fighting at medium ranges.
Bad News has very low range; use it together with a long range secondary weapon. Bad News also carries a risk of suicide if the player is too close to the target they are aiming at. Great attachments for this weapon are Poison Rounds, adding an element to this weapon, and Advanced Rifling, increasing the weapon's range. Overall, Bad News trades elemental properties for vastly increased performance in general. The weapon sports strong DPS and shines at medium range where the user does not face the chance of suicide.
