Special Effect "Reduced Ammo Consumption"

Appearance[]

It is a golden version of the flamethrower. Outside of the fuel tank and other certain parts keeping their color, almost the entirety of the weapon is made of pure gold. The model always has an extra triple laser sight attached on the heat shield near the nozzle.

Description[]

The Afterburner is an Elemental weapon with low damage, extremely high fire rate and high accuracy. It sets enemies on Fire. It is the custom version of the flamethrower.

Special effect:[]

Ammo is consumed at a slower rate than normal.

Overview[]

The Afterburner is possibly the worst Elemental weapon or Custom Weapon in general, and it's not hard to see why. Even for an Elemental, it deals pitiful damage, taking a surprisingly long time to kill enemies despite the incredible fire rate. It does not help that Fire is generally considered to be the worst status effect in the game, making this effect quite irrelevant.

Afterburner is also plagued by low range and the risk of suicide. Its excellent ammo capacity and great accuracy simply cannot compensate for its flaws.

Pros and Cons[]

Pros[]

  • Extremely fast fire rate being an Elemental.
  • Large ammo capacity. Being a single-clip, Drum Mag is the perfect attachment with no flaw.
  • High accuracy.
  • Is an Elemental; by default impact hits set enemies on fire.
  • Is a Custom weapon; has an additional effect.

Cons[]

  • Worst Elemental weapon with mediocre damage and range.
  • Worst impact damage.
  • One of the worst range weapon in the game.
  • Inflicts the weakest status effect in the game.
  • Being an Elemental weapon, the user runs the risk of killing themself.
  • Mediocre additional effect.

Trivia[]

  • In the game, "Awesome Planes", a medal also has a similar name.
  • A triple laser sight can be seen attached near the weapon's nozzle, which makes perfectly no sense at all given a flame thrower is not even a projectile weapon, and is not meant to be fired accurately.
